MEET LOLA
I'm Lola, a registered nurse, a mum, and someone who knows exactly what it feels like to carry everyone else while quietly putting yourself last.
You'll see my books signed Ruthy Michaels, that's my pen name, but every story behind them is mine.
Years ago, I was studying in a new country with two young children, exhausted and overwhelmed. I wished I had simple tools to help me breathe, pause, and feel like myself again.
So I made them. For you.
Every colouring book, grief journal, and affirmation book I create is a gentle reminder that you matter too.
“Life doesn’t slow down, so we need simple, meaningful ways to reconnect with ourselves.”
What people are saying about Ruthy Michaels' colouring books
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "My 6-year-old daughter loves her ‘I Can Do This’ colouring book. Every night she colours quietly, and sometimes I join her with my adult ‘Daily Affirmations’ book. Colouring keeps her calm and quiet, and I use mine to relax after a long day at work. I highly recommend both colouring books. Thank you for creating them. A.Dets. A. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"The ladies were inspired and moved by Ruthy's personal story and how she came to create her books. They have now made their own journals and started writing in them. I can really see growth and confidence coming back to them.
