Sustainability wasn’t always a buzzword. For Sahar Mansoor, it was personal.
She wanted to live a zero-waste lifestyle in India — a country where the waste problem is massive and solutions often feel out of reach. So she made minor changes. She tried living differently.
But something incredible happened.
Her personal commitment inspired others. People started asking questions, seeking advice, and wanting solutions they could use too. From that passion, Bare Necessities was born — a social enterprise focused on zero-waste products and sustainability education.
Sahar never set out to be a businesswoman. She followed her conviction, step by step. That’s why she also calls herself an accidental entrepreneur.
👉🏾 The lesson? Sometimes your personal journey — the thing you’re doing for yourself — is the spark that creates change for the world.
Amazing things happen when you try.
